We have a growing list of activities like line dancing, carpet bowling, cards and pool that everyone can participate in. Dances and pancake breakfasts will be starting soon.
Need Volunteers
We always need volunteers to help with the activities and events planned by the centre. The centre gets booked for weddings and other gatherings. There are lots of ways to help out.

The Hart Pioneer Centre provides affordable nutritious meals for everyone (membership not required) 5 days a week from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Available on request and served daily.
Welcome to the Hart Pioneer Centre
The Hart Pioneer Centre is the only senior’s centre in Prince George that is owned and maintained by its members. The Centre raises funds in a variety of ways that include dances, Christmas dinner, special teas, pancake breakfasts, crib tournaments, roast beef dinners, bingo, garage sales, craft fairs and bake sales just to name a few. The Centre is also available to rent out for various functions throughout the year including weddings and memorials.
Our goal is to help our seniors remain healthy, active, independent and contributing members of the community through fellowship, entertainment, recreational activities and a place to socialize and participate in activities with other people. There is something for everyone at our Centre. If you are interested in joining just drop in to see us at 6986 Hart Highway or phone us at 250-962-6712.

Easter special on April 17th is a Turkey Dinner with stuffing, greek pasta salad and dessert

Hart Pioneer Centre is closed for Easter from April 18th to April 21st.
Advanced polling for the Federal Election will happen on April 18th & April 21st
Election day is Monday, April 28th.
Volunteers are the back-bone of every non- profit organization. Without volunteers, many Senior Centres including the Hart Pioneer Centre could not function. If you are interested in volunteering a few hours a day or weekly, please contact the office.

The Hart Pioneer Centre is open Mon – Fri from 9 am to 3 pm
Membership is available to anyone who is 50 years of age or older for a fee of $25 per year.
Lunch for take out or eat-in is available five days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please call us the day before to let us know your plans. Take out Lunches are $13/plate and Dine-in lunches are $15/plate.

Federal Election Voting
There will be advance voting for the federal election at the Hart Pioneer Centre on the weekend before the election.
Monday Tax Clinic
Monday income tax clinics- March 3 to April 28 – get help from volunteers to get electronic taxes filed.
New Year’s Eve
Don’t miss the Hart Pioneer Centre New Year’s Eve Dance Party on December 31, doors open at 7pm.
